Northwest Cherry Salsa
Ingredients:
1 cup Chukar® Dried Bing Cherries, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
1 tablespoon jalapeno with seeds, finely chopped
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon grated lemon peel
Salt to taste
Dash hot pepper sauce

Directions:
Soak dried cherries in 1/2 cup water for 8 to 24 hours. Do not drain. Combine all ingredients. Refrigerate at least 1 hour. Serve as a condiment with poultry and meats.
Yields 3/4 cup.
This refreshing Cherry Salsa adds flavor to rice, pasta, meats, and poultry dishes. Make up ahead and keep sealed in your refrigerator.
