Northwest Cherry Salsa
  • 1 cup Chukar® Dried Bing Cherries, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon jalapeno with seeds, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • Salt to taste
  • Dash hot pepper sauce

Northwest Cherry Salsa (continued)
Soak dried cherries in 1/2 cup water for 8 to 24 hours. Do not drain. Combine all ingredients. Refrigerate at least 1 hour. Serve as a condiment with poultry and meats. Yields 3/4 cup.
