Chukar Cherries and Walnut Snack

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons peanut oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cups fresh walnut halves
  • 1 cup Chukar® Dried Cherry Medley
  • Pinch Kosher salt

    Directions:

    Heat oil and butter in skillet on medium heat, add walnuts and saute lightly, shaking the pan continuously until the nuts are golden brown. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the walnuts from the pan onto paper towels and let them drain. While still warm add salt to taste. Mix with dried cherries and serve warm at room temperature. To store; keep sealed and place in a cool, dry place.
