Cherry Chicken Pasta Salad
  • 3 cups cooked penne pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, cubed
  • 3/4 cup Chukar® Dried Columbia River Tart Cherries
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons green onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing
  • 1/3 cup toasted pecans, chopped

Cherry Chicken Pasta Salad (continued)
Combine pasta, chicken, cherries, celery, basil and green onion in medium sized bowl. Toss gently with salad dressing until all ingredients are lightly coated. Refrigerate, covered, 2 to 3 hours to allow flavors to blend. Sprinkle with pecans just before serving. Makes 6 servings.
