Fried Green Apples with Cherries
Ingredients:
2 green tart apples
4 slices bacon
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoon apple juice
2 tablespoon Chukar® Dried Cherries, any variety
Juice of one lemon

Directions:
Slice apples and sprinkle with lemon juice. Cut bacon into four pieces and fry until translucent. Add the apples. Stir in with the bacon and saute for one minute. Add dried cherries, brown sugar, apple and juice. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes until apples are tender. Serves 2.
