Cherry Cheese Spread
  • 1 cup Chukar® Dried Tart Cherries
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juices
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly grated lemon zest

In a small bowl, cover dried cherries with hot water and let stand 10 minutes or until softened. Drain well. Stir in brown sugar. In a bowl whisk together cream cheese, lemon juice, zest and cherry mixture until well combined. Serve with scones or crackers.
