- 4 tart baking apples
- 1/2 cup Chukar® Dried Cherries, any variety
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup hot water

| Fill the centers of 4 tart baking apples with a mixture of dried cherries, 1 teaspoon brown sugar, 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind, and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Pour 1/2 cup hot water in a baking dish, add the stuffed apples and bake at 375 degrees until soft. Serve with vanilla ice cream or yogurt.
