Cherry Bread Pudding
  • 1 pound bread, cubed
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup Chukar® Dried Cherries, any variety
  • 3 cups half-and-half
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 6 eggs, slightly beaten
  • Dash of salt

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Toss bread cubes with melted butter. Combine sugar and cinnamon and toss with bread cubes. Place in a buttered 9x13 inch baking pan. Sprinkle with dried cherries. In medium bowl; combine half-and-half, brown sugar, eggs and salt. Pour egg mixture over bread. Bake 35 to 40 minutes. Serve with Quick Cherry Maple Syrup.
