Going Green, It's Not Just Cherry Choices at Chukar

Chukar has opted for plant based packaging options that are biodegradable and recyclable. The brown paper filler placed inside shipments to hold items in place is made from 100% recyclable material, is biodegradable and sourced from only FSC, SFI and PEFC certified papermills. The cushioning pads inside assortment boxes are made with wood fibers that have not been chemically altered during the papermaking process so they are compostable as well.
When it comes to shipping Chukar wanted to take a responsible approach. Now, all Chukar shipments are carbon neutral with UPS, as denoted by a green sticker on all packages. Which means UPS agrees to be environmentally conscious when shipping these items. UPS states they “support organizations that offset their emissions and support projects that include reforestation, landfill gas destruction, wastewater treatment and methane destruction and are certified by SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance) and CarbonNeutral Company.”
