Chocolate Cherry Soufflé

Ingredients

  • Butter and powdered sugar (for ramekins)
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • ⅓ cup, plus extra for drizzling Chukar® Cherry Chocolate Fudge Sauce
  • 4 egg whites
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon cream of tartar
  • Powdered sugar, for garnish

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Butter and sugar ramekins. Place in freezer.
  2. Beat egg yolks, vanilla, flour, and salt until frothy.
  3. Gently warm Chukar® Cherry Chocolate Fudge Sauce in the microwave. Stir 1/3 cup warmed Chukar® Cherry Chocolate Fudge Sauce into egg yolk mixture.
  4. Beat together egg whites, sugar, and cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the egg white mixture and egg yolk mixture together.
  6. Spoon into prepared ramekins.
  7. Bake 18-20 minutes at 400°F.
  8. Garnish with a drizzle of Chukar® Cherry Chocolate Fudge Sauce and a sprinkle of powdered sugar.
