Cherry Chipotle Shrimp Skewers

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 jar Chukar® Cherry Chipotle Sauce
  • 4 limes
  • Scallions, for garnish

Directions

  1. Soak bamboo skewers in warm water for one hour.
  2. Rinse the shrimp in warm water and pat dry with paper towel.
  3. Empty the jar of Chukar® Cherry Chipotle Sauce into large bowl and add the shrimp.
  4. Let the shrimp marinate in the sauce for at least 30 minutes. Put the bowl in the refrigerator if marinating longer.
  5. Slice the limes into small wedges and finely chop the scallions.
  6. On each skewer, place at least four shrimp. Cook the skewers on a hot grill for a few minutes per side.
  7. Garnish with a squeeze of lime and a sprinkle of scallions.
  8. Pairs well with grilled pineapple, cheesy grits, and chilled Prosecco.
