Mulled Wine with Dried Cherries

  1. In a large saucepan combine the cider, Chukar® Columbia Valley Red Wine Blend, Chukar® Cherry Medley, honey, orange zest, orange juice, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and star anise. Bring to a boil. Lower to a simmer and continue cooking for 12 minutes.
  2. Slice oranges into thin rounds for garnish. Set aside.
  3. Using a slotted spoon, remove a half cup of cherries from the liquid and drain. Place 6-8 cherries on each bamboo skewer.
  4. Pour spiced cider into mugs, add an orange slice and a cherry skewer. Serve hot.
